This brief summarizes the results of a gender impact evaluation study, entitled Conditional cash transfers, adult work incentives, and poverty, conducted in 1997 in Mexico. The study observed the impact of Progresa program on the adult participation in the labor market and overall adult leisure time, and poverty on the individual and household level.
