Paraguay - Current economic position and prospects (English)

The Paraguayan economy grew at an average annual rate of 4.4 percent during the 1962-70 periods. Paraguay's 2.4 million populations are now increasing at a 3.4 percent annual pace and its labor force slightly more rapidly. Economic growth has not been sufficient to provide adequate employment opportunity.
