Just over 7,400 subsistence farmers and fishers registered under the project, and 100 commercial farmers whose recovery plans were approved, have received their benefits through the e-voucher system. The Beneficiary Impact Survey, conducted through a series of interviews and a stakeholder workshop in August 2016, confirmed high levels of satisfaction amount project beneficiaries. The extension of the closing date to March 2017 has provided an opportunity for the project to complete its remaining activities including enhancing the preparedness of the sector to better respond to future disasters.
