Men and women have equal ownership and inheritance rights to property. The default marital property regime is partial community of property. There are laws restricting the industries in which women may work. More specifically, there are restrictions regarding the employment of women in the area of mining. Women are entitled to 105 calendar days of maternity leave with 100% of wages paid. Men are entitled to 15 days of paternity leave with 100% of wages paid and 75 days of unpaid paternity leave. Parents are entitled to an additional 260 days of parental leave with 100% of wages paid. The law guarantees pregnant and nursing women workplace protections from dismissal and rights to a flexible schedule; however, it does not guarantee placement in an equivalent position when they return from maternity leave. The law stipulates public provision of childcare for children un- der the age of primary education. The age at which both men and women can retire and receive full benefits is 65.
