In particular, the contractors for civil works contracts have made substantial progress under the initial set of five contracts for rehabilitation of M6 highway. Thus, construction of additional two-lane carriageway is finalized and works have started for rehabilitation of the existing road lanes. Preparations for Bruzgi border crossing point reconstruction works have been finalized and procurement started. Efforts are being made for accelerating implementation of the project component on establishment of the Traffic and Road Safety Coordination Center.
