So far, 59 people have worked in the three work sites in Atar, Damerjog and Moustiquaire. The Page 1 of 4 The World Bank Report No: ISR9418 Agence Djiboutienne de Développement Sociale (ADDS) plans on launching eight additional sub-projects during the first quarter of 2013, for a total of 11 sub-projects launched before March 2013. This represents about 450 jobs created out of the 1,800 planned for the first year of the project (about 25% execution rate). Regarding the nutrition component, this has advanced well in the past quarter. Throughout 13 communities where beneficiaries have been registered, 42 sensibilization sessions have taken place. In addition, 17 facilitators, 5 supervisors, 27 mother advisors ("mères conseillères" who are volunteers) have been trained. The project has reached about 1,150 direct beneficiaries (818 children Public Disclosure Copy under age 2 and 312 pregnant women). In addition, about 23 groups of women and 25 groups of elders have also profited from the nutrition sensibilization activities organized in their areas by the two implementing non-governmental organizations.
