In addition, the grant supported the production and dissemination of a sector report with key statistical indicators pulled from the Ministry's information system, and is also supporting the integration of different modules and data sets into the system. The Bank is working with the Ministry to finalize Terms of Reference for several consultancies to support improvements in data quality, availability of key indicators, data management processes, and data dissemination. Consultancies to be completed within the next year will support the Ministry in revising existing regulation and developing new protocols as needed. 2) EMIS system is improved to consolidate different statistical data from the Ministry, and new modules for data collection are developed and incorporated: With the adoption of Microsoft Power Business Intelligence (Power BI), the Ministry is starting to pull together data into one comprehensive system. Initial training workshops have been completed with all of the central technical directorates as well as the regional and district offices of the Ministry on inputting and analyzing data with Power BI, and additional capacity building activities will be completed in the coming year. Consultancies to be completed within the next year will also enable the Ministry to consolidate additional data within its system and information management. Regarding new modules, the Ministry is in the middle of integrating two new modules into its information system: one on school infrastructure (developed in collaboration with the Safe Schools team) and one on stakeholder feedback (based in part on the experience of the Como Va Mi Escuela pilot). 3) Open data portal is available to allow all stakeholders to access timely and relevant education data and analytics, including user-friendly reports: Education data is now available in the government's Open Data Portal, but primarily in the form of downloadable files for now. One of the consultancies to be completed in the next year will develop the interface for stakeholders to be able to access this and additional data in a more interactive and user-friendly manner. The team therefore expects that the targets will be achieved by the close of the grant (which will be extended as discussed above).
