Eleyele Dam rehabilitation (20%), and the 13 Priority Sites (5%) remain ongoing. In addition, the Early Warning and Response System inception report has now been completed. The contractor for the First Pool of Long Term Investments (Lots 1 and 2) has been selected. Lot 3 and 4 of long-term investments detailed designs and bidding documents are close to completion. Based on the final masterplan submitted in June 2018, the government has drafted a city masterplan bill which has been discussed at the House of Assembly, prior to being adopted into law. A new department on Master Plan Implementation has been established in the Bureau for Physical Planning and Development Control (BPPDC) and has been staffed with a Director and technical staff. The Bureau is now developing a master plan implementation and investment strategy. 6/7/2019 Page 1 of 5 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project (P130840) The Flood Risk Management & Drainage Masterplan is also close to completion, a Technical Report on Flood Hazard Assessment was submitted by the consultants. The master-planning exercise is informing the prioritization and sequencing of drainage and attenuation investments for the city. The Flood Risk Management and Drainage Masterplan, which shall include conceptual design of all river, drainage, attenuation and crossing structures throughout the city of Ibadan, description of non-structural measures as well as institutional and regulatory arrangements will also be included, and will be available in the coming two months.
