This was the first closing date extension and was approved to accommodate the completion of: (i) the rehabilitation of Bois d'Orange Bridge; (ii) the flood and hydraulic study for Soufriere, Fond St. Jacques and Dennery; (iii) procurement of select office equipment; (iv) the geodetic Page 1 of 6 The World Bank Report No: ISR16225 survey; and (v) designs for rehabilitation/retrofitting of schools and health facilities. While there has been some implementation progress, activities (i) - (iii) above-mentioned remain outstanding at the project closing. These delays are partly resultant from the disruptions caused by the December 2013 Trough. The Government and the World Bank have agreed completing these activities under the Saint Lucia Disaster Vulnerability Public Disclosure Copy Reduction Project which was approved by the World Bank's Board of Directors on June 4, 2014.
