The current mission, however, conducted a thorough review of activities and found that Page 1 of 4 The World Bank Report No: ISR6432 only component 1 made considerable progress whilst the other 3 components only had limited progress. This is true in particular for component 3: Grassroots Management Training. Overall, implementing entities (NGOs in particular) some activities were not always in line with the objective of the component. The mission was able to rectify misunderstandings and all parties now have reviewed together the project document, details of activities to be conducted to achieve each component's objectives. Role of each and tasks to be conducted in the next 6 months have been clearly defined as such: Public Disclosure Copy - PADS is the financing agency and as such supports procurement of goods and services as well as financial management of the grant - SP/CNLPE is the coordinating agency for overall FGM coordination when it pertains to information, education and communication - Division of maternal and child health of the Ministry of Health remains fully engaged in component 2 and will provide training for front line health worker on dealing with FGM - AMMIE will organize and recruit consultants to conduct the grassroots management training. The training is planned to commence on April 9th. - AMMIE will also solicit proposals for rehabilitation of the "Maison de la Femme". To this end, it will organize a meeting with SP/CNLPE and the Ministry of Women's Affairs which is managing the women centers. -PADS will support the recruitment of a project coordinator for Voix de Femme and will review the cost table and the procurement plan to align its expenditures with that of those two documents (procurement of equipment for SP/CNPLE and Voix de Femmes).
