INDONESIA D AILY ECONOMIC UPDAT E Tuesday, 08 January 2019 ECONOMIC HIGHLIGHTS  Starting from 2 January 2019, Bank Indonesia no longer publishes overnight JIBOR (Jakarta Interbank Offered Rate) and it is expected that existing financial contracts using overnight JIBOR as a reference for overnight tenor, shift to IndONIA (Indonesia Overnight Index Average).  The headline seasonally adjusted Nikkei Indonesia Manufacturing Purchasing Managers ’ Index (PMI) rose from 50.4 in November to 51.2 in December.  Foreign exchange reserves stood at USD 120.7 billion at the end of December 2018, USD 3.4 billion higher than the November level.
