The project is on track to meet its PDO, with US$173.10 million disbursed out of a US$250 million IBRD loan. All major physical works of the metro Line 2 have been completed. Line 2's Stage I (from Zhanqiannan Avenue Station to Metro Mansion) was opened on August 18, 2017. Average ridership of Stage I since opening has reached 68,200 passengers per day.
