Training in Module 1 and 2 has been completed for mathematics teachers nationwide, work has been reinitiated on the online community platform, and 200 mathematics kits have been distributed to schools. The pilot and training for the teacher’s appraisal instrument was completed, and the development of standards for mathematics instruction has begun. The pilot for technology assisted learning is ongoing, and a comprehensive review of the program is being undertaken to tackle challenges identified. Construction of the two new schools began on October 15, 2018, and procurement for furniture and equipment for the two new schools will begin shortly. Finally, the education management information system has been developed and the pilot of 20 schools is completed.
