Independent State of Samoa: Samoa Connectivity Project

Corrigendum to Grant Agreement
We refer to the letter agreement ("Agreement") dated May 11, 2016 between the
International Development Association ("World Bank"), and the Independent State of
Samoa ("Recipient"), for the above referenced project ("Project").
We note that, due to an oversight, the Agreement incorrectly states that the source of
the grant is the Pacific Region Infrastructure Facility Multi Donor Trust Fund, however the
source of the grant is the Australia - Pacific Islands Partnership Trust Fund. This
corrigendum rectifies those errors as set out below.
1. The title of the Agreement and paragraph 1 of the Agreement are deleted in their
entirety, and replaced with the following:
"APIP Grant No TFOA2332: Samoa Connectivity Project
Letter Agreement
In response to the request for financial assistance made on behalf of the
Independent State of Samoa ("Recipient"), I am pleased to inform you that the
International Development Association ("World Bank"), acting as administrator of
grant funds provided by the Government of Australia, represented by the
Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (the "Donor"), under the
Australia - Pacific Islands Partnership Trust Fund ("APIP"), proposes to extend
to the Recipient a grant in an amount not to exceed one million five hundred
thousand United States Dollars (U.S.$1,500,000) ("Grant") on the terms and
conditions set forth or referred to in this letter agreement ("Agreement"), which
includes the attached Annex, to assist in the financing of the project described in the
Annex ("Project")."

2. The description of the enclosure in paragraph (b) on page 2 of the Agreement is
deleted in its entirety, and replaced with the following:
"(2)  Disbursement Letter, together with World Bank Disbursement
Guidelines for Projects, dated May 1, 2006."
All other provisions of the Agreement, except as revised herein, remain unchanged.
