The percentage of institutions with academic autonomy is 65 against a target of 70 and the share of programs that are accredited or awaiting accreditation is 63 against a target of 55. The percentage of faculty with at least an MTech is 89 against a target of 88 and the number of master and PhD. students enrolled is 37,800 (academic year 2013-14) against a target of 41,000. Likewise, progress against intermediate outcome indicators is satisfactory, with a number of indicators already surpassing their targets.
