Has the Project Development Objective been changed since Board Approval of the Project Objective? Savings from self-help group members (SHGs) are being borrowed and invested in income generating activities, skills development courses are starting to produce graduates who are obtaining new jobs and infrastructure investments are improving community accessibility and agriculture production. The results indicators remain behind schedule, but the number of SHGs has jumped from 220 in last mission in June to 408 today, skills development enrolment has gone from 33 students enrolled in June to 332 new applicants currently being processed. While this is a significant jump in skills development enrolment, significant effort will be needed to keep momentum to reach project targets. Out of the 29 infrastructure 1/17/2020 Page 1 of 7 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report KH - Livelihood Enhancement and Association of the Poor Project (LEAP) (P153591) subprojects in Siem Reap and Phnom Penh, 10 have been completed. Project implementation has improved considerably with most field staff in place and well-trained. Moving into the midpoint of the project in 2020, new instruments for collecting results indicator data will need to be developed and the trajectory of the project will need to be assessed in terms of meeting its end-of-project targets. Skills development actiivties are behind schedule, but a new batch of participants are expected in Siem Reap, in particular. Small scale infrastructure sub-projects have been small in number, but this reflects a consolidation of procurement packages into a small number of sub-projects. These numbers are expected to grow with the second round of subprojects including all 47 communes in Siem Reap. Data collection instruments are needed for sub-project quality and O&M arrangements. 1/17/2020 Page 5 of 7 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report KH - Livelihood Enhancement and Association of the Poor Project (LEAP) (P153591) Data on Financial Performance Disbursements (by loan) Project Loan/Credit/TF Status Currency Original Revised Cancelled Disbursed Undisbursed % Disbursed P153591 IDA-59600 Effective USD 20.17 20.17 0.00 3.23 17.67 15% Key Dates (by loan) Project Loan/Credit/TF Status Approval Date Signing Date Effectiveness Date Orig.
