The key project beneficiaries were identified including deaf preschool children, deaf leaders, sign language interpreters and hearing teachers for the deaf. More than two thirds of the young deaf children were identified and enrolled for interventions at pre-selected preschools and at home. Family Support Teams were also established and being trained to work with the deaf children and their families. Several activities are being accelerated to compensate for the delayed start-up. However, the implementing agency still needs to monitor their implementation plan more closely with a focus on the results to be delivered, not only activities completed. This requires close partnership between World Concerns and Ministry of Education and Training and strong leadership from both sides. Restructuring History There has been no restructuring to date.
