Government of Sao Paulo State: Project has made progress in initiating several key studies, including the monitoring of the quality of water in the program area and the Master Plan for Environmental Protection. The construction of Sanitary landfill in Embu-Guacu is to be relaunched after an initial unsuccessful attempt. While disbursements are still slow, project Public Disclosure Copy is on course to accelerate implementation and is on track to meet the Development Objectives. SABESP: Implementation has progressed and is now heading towards the final stage, as all project activities are planned to be contracted by mid second semester 2014. Project is on track to meet its development objectives. Sao Bernardo do Campo: SBDC has made progress in finalizing the project designs, and readying for the bidding process which should begin in April. Resettlement related aspects are still being worked out by the municipality. The final scope, cost and timeline of the project is now fully defined, and is co-financed by Federal Government through PAC. Finalization date exceeds the project closing date. A Mid Term review mission is scheduled for late April 2014.
