The contractors for civil works contracts are making consistent progress in rehabilitation of M6 highway. It is expected that construction works under the initial set of five contracts will be substantially completed by the end of year. Selection of the contractor for reconstruction of the Bruzgi border crossing point has been completed and works are expected to be completed in early 2019. Implementation of the project component on establishment of the Traffic and Road Safety Coordination Center is accelerated, but will require continuous efforts for successful completion within the original project timeframe.
