Re: Request for extension of the date for the countersignature of the IDF Grant for Building
Capacity to peve lop a National Piogram for Low-Emissions Economy Development Project
in Poland
Thank you very mich for your let er of October 4, 2012 regarding the grant from the World
Bank's Institutional Development Fund   ("IDF"), and the documentation    package
accompanying the grant agreement
Because of the  onger-than-expecte d procedure within the Government, hereby I would like to
ask you to extend the date for you- reception of the countersigned copy of the Agreement to
February 28, 2013. Our request is motivated by precautionary reasons, as we might be able to
receive the re jired Governmrent luthorization to sign this international agreement by end
December 201Z. However, this e) tension will provide us a safety margin to complete the
remaining proceduial steps.
I would like to te-confirm our ;tron g commitment to the objectives of the Project. I appreciate
much the cooperation with the World Bank and your technical and procedural advice required
in dealing with this comple) Pr(ject. I am looking forward to the continued intensive
cooperation with the World Baak ir the transition towards low-emissions economy in Poland.
