The National Agency for Public-Private Partnerships (NAPPP) has identified a list of PPP transactions and has been providing necessary assistance to the line ministries to move the transactions forward with adequate due diligence. The NPPP is also in the process of engaging necessary consultants with specific expertise required for several transactions to carry out feasibility studies, environment and social assessments, transaction advisory and other due diligence work. 2. The NAPPP, with the support of the World Bank, has carried out a number of capacity building workshops targeting several line ministries and the Ministry of Finance. These workshops have sought to address issues specific to transactions as well as overall issues around the PPP program in Sri Lanka, such as the importance of fiscal management in PPPs. In addition, the foundation module of the CP3P certification program by APMG has been carried out with the participation of NAPPP and several other participating line agencies and the Ministry of Finance.
