However, the construction and physical progress is delayed due to complex approval procedures for a design which, by nature, is different from what is usually pursued in Tianjin, combined with multiple changes in leadership across key agencies. Two technical assistance to develop a green transport strategy and improve parking management in the center of the city are progressing well and in line with schedule. The draft report for the research on green transport development strategy was completed in November 2017; the research on car parking mechanism of core area in central city has been completed in 2016.
