When verifying achievement of DLI 15 (number of mentees visited over the 2018-19 school year), it was discovered that there are issues in how the reports from mentors are compiled at the townships, states and regions, and then union level which led to double counting of mentees. On the basis of administrative data, it is estimated that more than 30,000 mentees Comments: and 20,000 schools were visited. Triangulating this with independent monitoring data indicates that only 15,000 mentees were visited so it is estimated that 10,000 schools are covered which represents 21 percent of the total number of schools (47,445). This explains the reduction in the value achieved for this indicator.
