It would build on the achievements of the First RE Project but would operate in more challenging conditions, providing electricity service in localities that are increasingly distant from the grid and with more dispersed populations. Has the Project Development Objective been changed since Board Approval of the Project Objective? No PHRPDODEL Components Name Component 1. If the connections committed for the sub-projects under construction are also considered, then the number of new connections to be accomplished within the Project reaches 38,245 new connections. This indicator was just meant to be tracked and therefore it did not have and end target in the original PAD. It has now been included the final number of renewable connections completed. However it was estimated that these three contracts would account for a total of 5,000 household productive units adopting electricity equipment that in the end resulted in 3,925 household productive units. Nonetheless, these projects have reached the estimated population benefited of around 21,500 people. This record excludes the VAT, as per the definition of the indicator. The value of the indicator is preliminary since some of the companies have not reported their updated investments to the PIU.
