The design and implementation of the essential package of health services (EPHS) is moving forward with an upcoming meeting with key country stakeholders on the vision and existing efforts towards a National Health Insurance. A health facility assessment will determine the equipment and supplies needs at the primary health care facilities to ensure they are adequately equipped to supply the EPHS to their catchment populations is expected to begin in the coming months.
