Project Development Objective(s) The project development objective is to strengthen the financial and institutional capacity of the Deposit Insurance Agency so as to meet its legal deposit insurance and bank resolution obligations. 3. Project Description The project development objective is to strengthen the financial and institutional capacity of the Deposit Insurance Agency so as to meet its deposit insurance and bank resolution obligations. The proposed project has two components that aim to accomplish the Project Development Objective. 1) A results based component of US$199 million that capitalizes the Deposit Insurance Fund based on satisfactorily achieving Disbursement Linked Indicators that improve the ability of the DIA to meet its mandated deposit insurance and bank resolution obligations. 2) A technical assistance component of US$1 million that aims to strengthen the ability of the DIA to meet its deposit insurance and bank resolution obligations and achieve the DLIs. 4.
