Together with system wide improvements such as the implementation of a new Health Management Information System, these improvements have enabled the provision of a minimum package of health services, and through Health Equity Funds (HEFs) and the piloting of Free Deliveries in two districts, have increased the equitable utilization of health services by the rural poor. In order to institutionalize these gains, Grant Agreements totaling US$ 12.4m in Additional Financing were signed on October 11, 2011 to support (a) the scale-up of the national Free Mother and Child Health policy, (b) continued financing of HEFs, and (c) integrated planning exercises. Fulfillment of effectiveness conditions is expected shortly, and these activities will focus in five Project Provinces. Restructuring History There has been no restructuring to date.
