All works contracts for station and tunnel construction have been signed, including those financed by the Bank (RMB 1.477 billion) and those financed by counterpart funding (RMB 2.059 billion). URC has also completed the procurement of equipment for Line 2. Among all 21 stations of Line 2, the main structures of 14 stations have been completed; the main structures of 7 stations are being constructed. Among all 20 tunnels of Line 2, 11 tunnels have been completed, 4 tunnels are under construction and the remaining 5 tunnels will start construction soon. Track laying has been completed for the Stage I section and it is planned for opening by August 1, 2017.
