Slope stabilization and remediation measures has now been completed. The remediated site remains a high risk area and should remain a no-build zone. The detailed design and safeguards instruments for road and water infrastructure rehabilitation works are being finalized and works will be bid out in early 2020. The Emergency Preparedness and Response (EP&R) Capacity Needs Assessment is also close to completion.
