Has the Project Development Objective been changed since Board Approval of the Project Objective? The Government, through the Social Registry (RS – Registro Social), requested three disbursements for a total amount of US$ 34 million. Advances to achieve DLI 2 were approved and already disbursed (September 26, 2019). The disbursements expected for achievement of DLI 1 were approved and will be disbursed the first week of October. 10/9/2019 Page 1 of 11 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Social Safety Net Project (P167416) For other disbursements expected in 2019, the GoE should officially adopt the RS 2018 that should be approved by the National Committee of the Social 2. Registry. The team is planning a supervision mission the week of October 7, 2019, to confirm the status of the adoption of the RS 2018. The main risk at this stage is the absence of political and technical decision to adopt the RS 2018, which could cause delays to achieve DLI targets and expected disbursements. To support the GOE in the process of adopting the RS 2018, in mid-July the Bank's team presented to the Social Registry Unit (SRU) technical team and to the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion (MIES) some scenarios and alternatives of what could happen if the RS 2018 was adopted, including legal aspects of the transition from the old RS 2014 to the new one.
