This objective continues to be achievable. Establishment of productive partnerships along the value chains and deployment of the project credit line are progressing well. 10 value chain subprojects are under implementation. 22 new investment sub-loans have been issued over the past seven months bringing the total number of agribusinesses benefited from the project credit line to 73. Implementation of the animal disease control program and activities aimed at upgrading the veterinary education are advancing. Consultants mobilized to assist the Food Safety Agency with development of laboratory strategy and improving inspection and state control functions.
