The team is working closely with Ministry of Health, Ministry of Planning, donors, and UN partners to explore ways to increase the utilization of health services by Syrians. Component 2: Capacity building, TA, and project M&E. 1 . Trainings: The team has shared a list of global trainings/ short courses on health systems and health financing with MOH. MOH will select a subset of the courses with WBG input and start the training process 2 . Studies: At the request of the Minister of Health, WBG is developing TORs for two studies on the cost of delivering an episode of care in the MOH system and on actuarial models for the CIP. These TORs will be finalized and the procurement process started in the next eight weeks 3 . Verification: The firm has been hired and completed half of the verification of utilization. Once existing bottlenecks in access to electronic data are resolved, the reports on verification of utilization should be available.
