Re: Kyrgyz Republic: JSDF Gant for Building Demand-side Capacity for Effective Local
Governance Project - Grant No. TF01 0208
Amendment to the Grant Agreement
We refer to the Grant Agreement between ARIS (the "Recipient") and the International
Development Association (the "Association"), dated March 9, 2012 (the "Grant Agreement"), as
amended. We also refer to your letter dated January 30, 2013, informing the Association of the
appointment of a new Executive Director of ARIS.
I am pleased to inform you that, after due consideration, the Association concurs with
your request to amend the Grant Agreement and sets forth here the agreements made pursuant to
this Amendment:
1.     Section 4.01 of the Grant Agreement is hereby amended to read as follows:
"4.01. Recipient's Representative.  The Recipient's Representative referred to in
Section 7.02 of the Standard Conditions is the Executive Director of the Recipient."
2.     This Amendment shall become effective upon signature by both parties hereto.
