The textual component of the Kosovo Land Information System (KCLIS) has been rolled out to all offices and the graphic part is under development. The Kosovo Positioning System (KOPOS) that receives satellite signals and provides data for GPS equipment is operational and has over 60 users. The first round of contracts for cadastre reconstruction (CR) work and building cadastre construction (BCC) work have been completed and the second round is being contracted. The development of the Kosovo Cadastre Agency (KCA) corporate strategy and business plan has been completed. The Inter Ministerial Land Committee stated that it will recommend setting up a government working group to make the decisions needed to be able to implement the plan. There are significant cost savings in most activities and the KCA will propose reallocation of these savings for new or additional activities such as the Disaster Recovery Center and more CR. Both GIZ and the Norwegian support will shift next year to focus more on capacity building. The critical Quality Control (QC) staff will no longer be funded by GIZ and KCA will include a new plan for QC using project funds.
