The project has met some of the results framework indicators and started to show positive impact on others. The project has reached 2,070,402 direct beneficiaries, representing 131% of the target of 1,580,000. Number of households with sustainably restored agricultural livelihoods under the IFA program has reached 208,753, which is 116% of the target. 74 classrooms have been fully restored and 5 health facilities have been reconstructed with services expected to be restored in the next few weeks. Post Disaster Needs Assessment (PDNA) methodology training has been undertaken, leading towards institutionalization/adoption of the PDNA methodology. The rehabilitation of the final phase of infrastructures under irrigation, water supply, water resources, education and health is making substantial progress and expected to be completed on time. All implementing agencies are encouraged to focus on timely completion, report the outcomes of the interventions, focus on sustainability of the interventions and strengthen collaboration with MDRRP and other projects.
