Republic of Guinea: Post Ebola Support Project
Correction of error in the Grant Agreement
Excellency:
We refer to the Grant Agreement dated December 5, 2016, ("Agreement") for the
above-referenced Project, between the Republic of Guinea ("Recipient") and the International
Development Association (the "Bank") acting as administrator of grant funds provided by
various donors ("Donors)" under the Ebola Recovery and Reconstruction Trust Fund.
As you are aware, the Agreement erroneously refers to September 30, 2020 as the Closing Date,
even though the correct date is June 30, 2018. Therefore, there is a need to correct the error in
the Agreement.
The Bank hereby proposes to amend section 3.03 of the Annex to the Agreement to
read as follows:
"3.03. Withdrawal Period The Closing Date referred to in Section 3.06 (c) of the
Standard Conditions is June 30, 2018."
Please confirm your agreement with the foregoing on behalf of the Recipient, by
signing, dating, and returning to us the enclosed copy of this letter. The amendment will become
effective as of the date of your countersignature, once the countersigned letter is received by
the Bank. All other provisions of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
