B. Grant Development Objectives
The objective is to improve energy access by the rural poor communities and increase their incomes, particularly women
and youth in Yemen, through piloting the use of rural biogas as an integral part of sustainable development to meet the
challenges of poverty, food and energy production, while contributing to the mitigation of climate change impacts.
