Total disbursement is now at 17 percent. Due the similarities of this Project with the IDA-funded Lesotho Education Quality for Equality (LEQEP), all of the preparatory activities of key activities for this project were carried out under LEQEP and, therefore, implementation of this Project has been smooth. The disbursement condition of the SIP grant has been fulfilled. Training of junior secondary school teachers has started. Data on teacher content knowledge are pending the baseline study on teacher content knowledge and national assessment of grade 9 students (data collection planned in September 2018). Data per school for the calculation of the dropout rates from the EMIS are to be extracted by MoET from the overall EMIS. Actual numbers are expected for the next supervision mission in October/November 2018. The indicators on dropout rates will be updated at the next ISR.
