Moreover, the project has already exceeded many end-of-project target indicators (e.g. % of female project beneficiaries, timely payments of regular cash transfers and emergency cash transfers). The disbursement rate (parent project) is 99.4%. At least 35 000 out of 40,000 Cash Transfer beneficiaries received their last payments in June 2019; all 12,000 Emergency Cash Transfers beneficiaries received their last payment in January 2019 and all 30,000 beneficiaries of Public Works received their last payment in February 2019. The share of timely cash transfer payments has increased to 96.42% for regular cash transfers and to 97.92% for emergency payments. 8/5/2019 Page 1 of 9 The World Bank Implementation Status & Results Report Cameroon Social Safety Nets (P128534) A total of 634,756 poor people have access to a safety nets system through cash transfers or cash for work in the regions of Adamawa, Far-North, North, East, North West and the cities of Yaoundé and Douala. Accompanying measures have been strengthened with the introduction of (i) temporary creches to allow beneficiaries with children below 5 to participate in Cash for Work activities (THIMO); and (ii) essential family practices. There has been a steady increase in beneficiary households of regular cash transfers participating in accompanying measures. As of May 2019, 95.24% of households participate in accompanying measures.
