Efficiency improvement is expected as a result of the Project#s financial support to selected investments of the state investment program in road infrastructure and to activities that seek to strengthen the State Government#s overall capacity to manage the road network, including planning preparation, execution and monitoring of work programs at the administrative, engineering and environment levels. Efficiency gains are expected to result in inter alia improved accessibility and safety, and reduced logistics costs.
