No II. SUMMARY OF PROJECT STATUS AND PROPOSED CHANGES The World Bank BF-Youth Employment & Skills Development (P130735) The project core activities are being implemented. The progress toward achievement of the PDO had been changed from moderately unsatisfactory to Moderately satisfactory in last June as well as the overall implementation progress. The disbursement rate stood at 70 percent at the end of October 2018 against 50 percent at the end of May 2018 and 43,32 percent at the end of December 2017. The overall project is on track to reach its development objective which is to increase access to temporary employment and skills development opportunities for out-of- school youth. Significant improvement in government commitment has been observed during the last 6 months. The demand of just in time training from partners has increased and there is growing demand from youth for training in entrepreneurship. More importantly, the extension will also permit the first cohort of apprentices to finish a full cycle of training. The extension is for 12 additional months. III.
