The funds are being disbursed through the Haiti Education for All Trust Fund (HEFA TF), for which a grant agreement was signed on June 10, 2010. Part 1 of the project (compensation grants to schools to cover teacher salaries) is progressing well. The school health and nutrition program is also underway, with three firms having been recruited as service providers. Finally, programming of activities under Part 2 (Early Childhood Development and curriculum development) is also nearing completion, in close collaboration with UNICEF and UNESCO. Along with the monitoring mechanism, a large communication campaign on the project will be undertaken to provide updated information to all stakeholders.
