Currently, the project has reached 1,704,559 households which exceeds the project target of 730,370 households. This mainly owes to the improved food access for people who were affected by the drought through distribution of 92,343mt of maize to 1,437,633 households. In addition, 87,750 households were reached through immediate livelihood support under the input for asset interventions. Further, a combined total of 80,005 households have been reached through crops and livestock interventions as well as 21,671 households benefitting from irrigation.
