Taking advantage of the retroactive financing provision of the credit agreement, the project has made good progress in civil works; awarded 832 roads (1930km) out of the total 1043 roads (2521 km) - 73% achievement. 94 roads have been substantially completed thereby connecting 94 villages to the network. The total value of civil works completed and certified is equivalent to $34 million (25%). PWD needs to adopt the PMGSY On-line Monitoring, Management and Accounting System (OMMAS) as a monitoring tool for the project.
