From these 59 LGs/PDAMs, 12 have been identified for implementation in 2020, consisting of 4 LGs/PDAMs for Batch-1 with advanced bidding to start in 2019 for construction to start in early 2020, and 8 for Batch-2 (procurement is expected to start in early 2020 for construction to start mid-year). In addition, 31 LGs/PDAMs have been identified for implementation in 2021 and have presented their initial project proposals. Through the intensive dialogue with PDAMs and LGs, the CPMU and CPIU have provided inputs and suggestions to PDAMs and LGs to have better planning and improved operation and management in improving and expanding their services, as well as in accessing support from other programs such as the Water Hibah. Progress of Performance Based Grant (PBG) preparation -- Bappenas and Directorate of Drinking Water Supply Development (DDWS) have agreed to start the PBG under the NUWSP (for Non-Revenue Water reduction and Energy Efficiency) in parallel to the PBG under the Australian supported KIAT program. CPMU NUWSP and CPMU Hibah will start coordination with the DG Fiscal Balance of the Ministry of Finance to ensure that the PBG can start implementation in calendar year 2020. Website and Web-based MIS -- Project website and web-based MIS is active and has been utilized to disseminate project's information. The Self Assessment Toolkit has been also converted as a web-based MIS and can be utilized to monitor progress of PDAMs' performance and to monitor and evaluate project implementation. The website and web-based MIS will be also utilized to provide open access to project's information and as a media to implement the Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM).
