The project became effective on May 1, 2015, and a number of activities have been completed or in progress. 2 . PNG implementing partners attended a South-South learning tour in Suva, Fiji from May 25-30, 2016 to learn about regional best practice models in addressing FSV. The World Bank’s Global Platform on Addressing Sexual and Gender Based Violence in Fragile and Conflict-affected Situations (FCS) organized the learning tour. 3 . A Type 2 re-structuring package is being prepared to re-structure the budget of the project to accommodate the purchase of a new vehicle to support project implementation activities. 4 . The project has recently hired a highly qualified project management consultant to run activities in PNG.
